Our Scout Tents come in 2 forms. Individual – which is large enough for two people and the Cross Tent which is essentially four of the individual tents stuck together creating a covered common area in the middle which can be utilised for seating, dining, socialising, extra storage or additional sleeping space.

Eurojam 05

These tents proved to be a massive hit at Eurojam 05 and thanks to the scout tents, tipi and yurt, we attracted interest from scout groups from around the world.

Individual Scout Tent

Specifications for the individual scout tent are as follows:

  • Canvas dimensions: 2m x 2m x 1.70m
  • Base dimensions: 2m x 2m x 0.75m
  • The canvas overlaps the base by 10cm to ensure that water (rain) cannot enter
  • Overall height of 2.35m
  • The base is constructed of 4 walls made of 2cm tunnel and groove which protects against drafts and leaks

The benefits of this type of tent over its (baseless) equivalent are numerous:

  • No need for pegs or guide ropes (nothing to trip over)
  • More protection against the elements
  • Greater comfort on raised beds
  • Improved hygiene

The only downside to this type is that they are require more space during transport and storage.

  • 1 x set of wood screws/hooks (for attaching canvas to base)
  • Canvas cover

The Cross Tent

The dimensions for this tent are the same as for an individual tent multiplied by however many tents you choose to put together, (usually 3 or 4).

The main benefit of this tent is that it is more communal and that a 2m x 2m (optionally) covered common space is created between the tents which can be utilised for seating, dining, socialising, extra storage or additional sleeping space.
