Geodesic Domes

The greatest thing about the geodesic dome is that it easily fits into your average family car along with all the other camping equipment. It’s easy to erect and take down, spacious and comfortable. As well as camping geo-domes are also used for running workshops, sacred spaces and with the addition of a wood burner, living in.

Our geo–dome frames are made entirely from locally sourced sustainable and traditionally coppiced hazel or ash and the joints are made from recycled (when possible) plastic water pipe. The poles are then joined together with the aid of roofing bolts and wing nuts. The covers we recommend are either the 300g or 360g canvases which are made of 100% water and rot proof cotton. Fire retardent canvas is available at extra cost. We can, upon request, provide a 420g, 50% cotton, 50% polyester mixed weave cover. All of our covers are very durable and we are happy to advise as to which is best for you according to your needs.

I have personally used a geo-dome for the last 5 years. As well as being a beautiful space it is also the quickest and easiest tent to erect and for anyone with a young family like myself, you’ll know the value of this...
